Meet Natalie Adey, LCSW, C-DBT

Hi, I'm Natalie! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy services to clients across Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, California, Virginia and Florida . I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing PTSD, Life Transitions and Mood Disruption.

Outside of being a therapist, I love to be with my friends and family, spoil my dog and two cats, and explore the world through history lessons and food!

I believe that therapy is about more than "working things out." The therapeutic relationship is just that: a relationship. I provide a safe and supportive environment to express emotions that are often difficult to express in other settings; anger, grief, sadness, despair.

At the intersection of clinical expertise and human warmth, I offer a thoughtful space where you can slow down, gain insight, and better understand yourself. My approach balances evidence-based technique with the flexibility to meet you where you are, allowing our work together to feel both grounded and individualized.

I honor the nuances of your experiences and may incorporate role play, reflection, and other creative exercises to help you explore your values, relationships, and goals. Progress does not have to follow a rigid timeline or formula; we’ll move at a pace that feels appropriate for you and the work you’re ready to do.

Affirming & Inclusive

I also recognize that the identities you hold—including your sexual orientation and gender identity—shape how you move through the world. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I have experience supporting queer and trans clients through coming out, identity exploration, and navigating the weight of minority stress.
